Open Source Projects

I'm using open-source software for almost all my work, only using commercial software if not possible otherwise.

I'm actively involved in several open-source projects:

• FileColumn : A library for easy handling of file uploads in Ruby on Rails.
• WebMacro : A template language especially suited for web-applications as a replacement for JSP (Java Server Pages), supporting well-designed applications adhering to the model-view-controller pattern.
• iRivNavi : A fast and free generator for iRiver's database files. This database is required to browse songs by artist/album.
• SimpleJDO : A free implementation of Sun's JDO standard for transparent persistence, using a SQL database as backend.
